Blocks 3, 4 & 5 - Apartments in these blocks continue to progress on completion stages. Completion stages refer to internal & external painting, electrical wiring, interior carpentry works, kitchen & wardrobe fitting & sanitary fittings.

South side of Phase 1 Paradise Beach

Apartment Blocks 3, 4 & 5: Works advance into finishing stages as painting continues throughout the apartments. All units are now fully tiled and windows installed in 80% of the apartments in these Blocks. We now have 2 further show apartments as one of our furniture suppliers has fitted out a furniture and accessories package for a 2 bedroom apartment and a 3 bed duplex penthouse.

August Newsletter 2010

Apartment Blocks 3 & 4 continue with painting inside and outside as well as interior carpentry works , i.e. doors.

All of these apartments have now been certified completed for tiling works, and approximately 50% of these have completed windows installation. (See August photo gallery).

July Newsletter 2010

Once again we are seeing huge progress at the Paradise Beach construction site.
Although Blocks 1 and 2 on the North side of the construction site only commenced in recent months we are already up to 2nd floor works on several of the apartment blocks and even 3rd and 4th (top) floors on others. (See July photo gallery).

June Newsletter 2010

Throughout the month of June, floor levels in Block 1 continue to increase as 6 apartments within this block have already reached 3rd floor block work. We expect to be pouring upper floor and roof slabs in the coming weeks. The remaining apartments are at varying stages from 1st to 2nd floors and are also increasing rapidly in floor levels. Construction continues at a rapid pace at Paradise Beach and another month on, we are seeing many further changes.

As stated in the last newsletter, all foundationsand associated infrastructures were completed and certified on all apartments in Block 1. Once foundations are completed, it allows the contractor to advance to the next floor level and since last month, some units are in fact now up to 3rd floor blockwork as you will see in the photo gallery (May 2010).

April Newsletter 2010

Once again the number of men on site has increased as a team of painters arrived this week from Portugal. Painting has already completed in some apartments in Block 3 as we are preparing new show units to display the various furniture package options (see photos in gallery)...

March Newsletter 2010

In Block 1, the foundations are progressing in various stages. More units have been completed and certified for foundations, whilst the rest will be completed and certified over the coming weeks. Those with completed foundations are fast reaching the first floor. In block 2, all foundations have now been completed and certified and some units have already reached first and second floors...

Paradise Beach began this month with a visit from the President of Sal, Dr Jorge Figuereido, and his colleagues from the Camara Municipal. The Directors of Paradise Beach, its’ Project Managers, and site Managers from both SGL & Opway, the joint venture contractors, were present at this meeting...

An additional 280 men have joined the workforce on Paradise Beach this month, bringing the current total amount of men on site so far to 580. With the workforce increasing daily, the work on site is accelerating rapidly. Work teams are to be seen in all corners of the site from north to south...
