North of Phase 1:

Throughout the month of June, floor levels in Block 1 continue to increase as 6 apartments within this block have already reached 3rd floor block work. We expect to be pouring upper floor and roof slabs in the coming weeks. The remaining apartments are at varying stages from 1st to 2nd floors and are also increasing rapidly in floor levels. (See photo gallery (June 2010).

In certain areas of Block 2 concrete roofs have been poured, meanwhile other units are up to 2nd and 3rd floor levels. Plastering works have already started in preparation for tiling over the coming weeks. Please refer to the Photo Gallery to see the amazing progress made within these blocks over the last few weeks.

Front-line semi-detached villas on the North side (Units 7 - 12) have already commenced plastering works in preparation for tiling.

Behind the front-line the semi-detached villas are now up to roof works and vary in stages from roof slab works, screed, membrane and tiling.

Front-line luxury detached villas on the North (units V12, V13 and V14) are progressing, from concrete cleaning works in preparation for foundations up to 2nd floor block work and even roof slab works on V12.

South of Phase 1:

Windows and doors continue to be installed in remaining units in Block 3 and has also now started in Block 4. Apartments that have already been certified for windows, internal painting has started and in some apartments already completed. The walls are white and make the already large rooms seem so much bigger. With the painting completed internally, it will allow the kitchen contractor to start fitting kitchens in the apartments.

In Block 5, plastering works are finishing and floor screed and tiling has already commenced in this block. Tiling works will be certified once the work has been completed over the coming weeks.

In the semi detached villas, painting continues inside and out. They will also be white internally and a lovely shade of yellow outside.

Front-line semi-detached villas on the South side (1-6) are almost complete. Painting on the inside and outside has already finished, kitchens fitted along with all other carpentry works as well as bathroom fittings. These units will soon be entering the snagging phase in preparation for handover. Again, see the gallery for photos of the painting works, kitchens etc..

In the frontline detached villas, work continues in the private swimming pools and surrounding grounds.

In general, the south side of the site is coming on very well as common infrastructure works are ongoing. Public illumination, telephone and LV distribution network continues as well as common paths and walkways. Civil works have started on swimming pools and hard landscape works are also ongoing. The landscapers now have more than 75,000 plants and trees ready for planting. Some examples of the beautiful colours of these plants can also be seen in the gallery.

Furniture Packages:

Contracts are almost finalized and suppliers have containers currently being shipped in preparation for installing the furniture and accessory packages at the new show units at Paradise Beach. Once the containers are out of customs at the port here in Sal, and the assigned show units have completed painting, kitchen and snagging works, they will begin the furnishing process. We will then be in a position to send out all furniture information and prices along with photos of the new show units. We expect this to be mid/end of August.
