SOUTH SIDE OF PHASE 1 PARADISE BEACH
Apartment blocks 3, 4 & 5
The majority of apartments are now at final completion stages and painting continues internally and externally.
Semi-detached villas
All of these units on the South side are well into finishing stages as painting has been completely finished both internally and externally. Kitchens continue to be fitted in the remaining units and electrical works are progressing.
Front-line detached villas
The luxury front-line villas on the south side of Phase I have now completed tiling works internally on all units. Over the last few weeks windows have also been installed and these villas are now certified complete to window stage. Painting has begun this month and has made a huge difference to the frontline. NORTH SIDE OF PHISE 1 PARADISE BEACH
Apartment blocks 1 & 2
The North side of Phase I on Paradise Beach is rapidly catching up with the South side, with advanced plastering stages already being reached in blocks 1 & 2. Tiling will start in the following weeks.
Semi-detached villas
Tiling has begun in the semi-detached villas on the North side of Phase I.
The final delivery of materials has arrived on site in order to complete the remaining stages of units on the south side of Phase I. They are testing pressure of both water and power utilities at the moment. In recent weeks Paradise Beach SA and Electra, the Cape Verdean water and electricity supplier, have finalised agreements for the installation of water and electricity services from their main power station on Sal to the central power station situated inside Paradise Beach. From here, owners will then sign individual contracts with the management company for the supply and connection of these services to their properties. However, the resort of PB will have complete back up on generators which are scheduled to arrive mid-November.
FURNITURE PACKAGES

COMPLETION PROCESS
As mentioned in the last newsletter the majority of the units on the South of Phase I may be ready for handing over from the end of December 2010. However, it must be noted that there is still the matter of snagging, notary and registration of the property, utilities and connections of electricity, the fit out of furniture etc, so it will be February or March before one can move into a completed property.
The majority of the apartments on the South side are due for completion from the end of December, and this is when the final instalment will be due.
