SOUTH SIDE PHASE 1
Blocks 3, 4 & 5
Apartments in these blocks continue to progress on completion stages. Completion stages refer to internal & external painting, electrical wiring, interior carpentry works, kitchen & wardrobe fitting & sanitary fittings.
Semi detached villas
Contractors have commenced snagging and remedial works in preparation to handover these units by end of December/early 2011, to ECP the onsite project managers who are responsible for final snagging and certification of completion of the property.
Detached villas
External tiling on terraces is now complete and works continue to progress throughout the interior and exteriors.
NORTH SIDE PHASE 1
Blocks 1 & 2
95% of the infrastructure of the apartment blocks on the north of phase 1 is now complete. Roof tiling is almost complete on both blocks and plastering continues throughout. Tiling is expected to commence early January, followed by the windows in February. Please be aware that payments for both windows & tiling will come very close together.
Semi detached villas
Tiling is ongoing with the semi detached villas on the north side.
Detached villas
Plastering is almost complete on the detached villas.
GENERAL SITE NEWS
Swimming Pools
The contractors are progressing with iron reinforcement in preparation for concrete application by the swimming pool specialists. Pool housing is currently being built which will contain the cleaning equipment & pumps for the pool. A large pergola is currently being built to provide shade around the pool area. CV Telecom
An agreement has been made with CV telecom (national telephone company of Cape Verde) for the installation of fibre optics at Paradise Beach before the end of the year. These will be installed on the south side and will provide for internet & telephone usage as well as cable tv.
Furniture Packages
We are pleased to inform you that our 2 furniture suppliers have almost finished their brochures. Paradise Beach are now preparing a special website where all of their information will be available to view. This will be launched before the Christmas holiday period.
GENERAL NEW
After Sales
Beverley is sadly returning to the UK after 4 years in Cape Verde. Beverley will be sorely missed by not only Paradise Beach but all the community here in Sal.
Tracey Hall shall be replacing Beverley in the role of After Sales.
She has lived in Cape Verde for almost 4 years and originally worked in After Sales for a medium sized developer who she had originally bought a property from. Based on her own experiences she is able understand & appreciate what clients are going through when purchasing a property so she feels she can bring this & her knowledge of Cape Verde into the role at Paradise Beach.
She shall be assisting Laura and we will endeavor to reply to your enquiries as quickly as possible. Please continue to send your requests & queries to Laura as well as Tracey.
