Over 10,000 passengers visited Sal and Boa Vista Easter

More than 10,000 passengers embarked and disembarked on the islands of Sal and Boa Vista between 21 and 24 April, during Easter. This represents an increase of 4.9% over the same period in 2010.

There were 10,618 passengers passed through the airport Amilcar Cabral and Boa Vista between Holy Thursday and Easter Sunday, according to the ASA. Of this total, 2,961 were domestic and 7657 international. These passengers were carried by 180 aircraft, an increase of 12.5% ??over 2010.

In the same period, these two national airport infrastructure moved 20,933 kilograms of cargo, of which 16,235 pounds at the airport of Sal and 4698 pounds in Boa Vista. These numbers represent an increase of 24% over the same period last year. Already at the post office, there was a slight decline in 1466 to 905 in 2010, a negative growth of -38.3%.
