Second package of U.S. support to Cape Verde will be signed on February 10
The second package of support for the Millennium Challenge Account to Cape Verde will be signed on February 10, announced Monday in Praia ambassador to the United States of America in Cape Verde.
At the end of a meeting with the president of the National Assembly, Basilio Mosso Ramos, Ambassador Adrienne O'Neal said that the embassy is preparing to travel to Cape Verde from the Executive Director of the Millennium Challenge Corporation, Daniel W. Yohaness to sign the second financial package of support to Cape Verde.
Cape Verde was the first country to be awarded the second aid package from the MCA, worth 66.2 million dollars, that amount will be applied to development programs of the water, sanitation and master planning.
The first package was $ 110 million, was for the construction of infrastructure for the development of Cape Verde.
